Serving our Community The Junior League of Plano began in May 1976, as the Plano Service League and was admitted to the Association of Junior Leagues International in February of 1984, becoming the 255th League to join. Today our membership includes over 900 women from cities in Collin County, including Plano, Allen, Frisco and McKinney who are committed to improving family life in Collin County. Since its inception, more than 2,000 women have served as members. League members have raised over $2.5 million, implemented more than 200 community service projects, and worked more than 100,000 volunteer hours in Collin County.
